Birol Southend School is one of the most prestigious elementary schools in Birol Upazila under Dinajpur. Established in 2005, this first-of-its-kind school in Birol was founded by former Joint Secretary of the Government of Bangladesh Mr. Jalal Uddin Ahamed and his spouse proficient educationist Mrs. Rowshan Ara Begum. The school is managed by a former defense officer with a team of competent teachers and administrators. The school has immensely contributed to scaling up educational initiatives in Birol by developing professional teachers in the community.
